
IN FOCUS: La Boheme a Symphony & Choral Spectacular

The Symphony of the Mountains presented Acts II and III and segments from Acts I and IV of La Boheme Sunday, Feb. 19 in the Grand Hall of the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon. The opera was sung in Italian by soloists and regional choruses. RIGHT: Kayleigh Fowler, the soprano in the Knoxville Opera Company who sang Musetta in "La Boheme," visits with third grader Ellen Duncan, a member of the East Tennessee Children's Choir.
